Registration and Local Arrangements

Location

The 13th conference Fundamentals of Computation Theory (FCT'2001) will take place in LZA Zinatnes nams ( Science House of Latvian Academy of Sciences), Vikingu iela 3, Jurmala, Republic of Latvia. For more information on the location see Travel and location information

Registration

To participate at the FCT 2001, please fill in the Reply Form (txt) and pay the registration fees. To assist us in planning the conference, please return the Reply Form by fax or mail at your earliest convenience. The deadline for the early registration is June 22, 2001. The deadline for the late registration is August 1, 2001. All later requests will be considered on site registrations. The registration desk will be open in the Zinatnes nams lobby on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 from 14:00 to 20:00 and each following day of the conference.

Registration fees

The full fee includes a copy of proceedings (Springer-Verlag) and other conference materials, refreshments during breaks, 3 lunches, a ticket to the welcome party, ticket to the conference trip, ticket to the conference dinner and the use of conference facilities. The student fee includes all of the above except the proceedings. The accompanying person fee includes a ticket to the welcome party and a ticket to the trip & dinner.

Accomodation

The accommodation for participants is reserved at Zinatnes nams hotel. 

All prices above are per night including breakfast.

Payment

All prices (registration, accommodation, social program) are in Latvian Lats (LVL). All payments can be made by a bank transfer

Please make sure that the bank transfer is made net of all bank charges and commissions.

Please include with your Reply Form a proof of your payment.

Cancellation Policy

75% of the registration fee will be refunded for all written cancellations postmarked no later than August 1. After that date no refund of registration fee will be provided.

Refunds of accommodation payments will be granted in full for all written cancellations postmarked no later August 1, 2001. Any cancellations after that date will result in a one-night charge.

Social Program

We invite you to take part in the following activities:

• Sightseeing tour of Riga City Wednesday, August 22
  A guide will meet us at the Zinatnes nams lobby from where we will take a pleasure tour to Riga City.
  Price: LVL 5.
• Lunches, Wednesday, August 22, 2001 – Friday, August 24, 2001
  Lunches will be served at the Zinatnes nams hotel restaurant.
