Take bus No. 22. Ticket costs 0.70 LVL. You can buy a ticket from a bus driver, payment only in cash, lats only. The approximate time of a bus-ride 40 minutes, departs every 15 - 30 minutes. The best stop for getting to the Riga center or Institute is at the city center near Stockmann & Forum Cinemas center.
Important! Do not miss the stop at Stockmann, as the next stop is quite far away from the center!
Go in the direction of railway terminal, enter the underground way, walk until next exit and turn left in the farthest way inside the tunnel. Then hold to the right side and you will exit near the Institute. (see map) Alternativelly, at airport you can pick up a taxi. It will cost around 6-7 LVL.

From the railway station

Take exit from station to the center direction (named Stacijas laukums). Cross the street via underground way (on the left side). You will be in the front of the Institute. (see map)

From the bus terminal

Exit the terminal. Turn to the left, go under the railway bridge and turn to the right, go along Forum Cinemas and Stockmann. Go in the direction of railway terminal, enter the underground way, walk until next exit and turn left in the farthest way inside the tunnel. Then hold to the right side and you will exit near the Institute. (see map)
