IMCS museum is visited by students from Wales
The Museum of Computing and Informatics, working in IMCS rooms, was visited by students from Tredegar Comprehensive School in Wales on 9 July. Museum’s head Andrejs Skuja told students about the times when there were just few computers in Latvia, and showed different old computing and data processing devices.
British youngsters came to Latvia because their school is twinned with Jaunpiebalga Secondary School in Latvia. The museum was not their only entertainment while staying in Riga. They also enjoyed 10th Latvian Youth Song and Dance Celebration, ice cream factory and other objects.
