IMCS along with the University of Latvia and the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Latvia is organizing Ninth International Baltic conference on Databases and Information Systems (DB&IS 2010). The event will take place in Riga this summer, July 5-7.
The Baltic conference on databases and information systems is thought as an international forum for technical discussion among researchers and developers of databases and information systems. The objective of the conference is to bring together researchers as well as practitioners and PhD students in the fields of advanced database and information systems research. The goal of the conference is to discuss the role that database systems play in the development of modern networked information systems. The conference is also seeking for the databases and information systems research that relate to ontologies and semantic web.
This conference is continuing a series of successful biennial Baltic conferences on databases and information systems which have been held in Trakai (1994), Tallinn (1996, 2002, 2008), Riga (1998, 2004), and Vilnius (2000, 2006).
