The following activities were carried out in the ESF project „Applications of mathematical structures based on fuzzy logic principles in the development of telecommunication network design and resource control technologies” with agreement Nr. 2013/0024/1DP/1.1.1.2.0/13/APIA/VIAA/045 during the period from 01.10.2014 to 31.12.2014:
Activity 1: „A formation of a new interdisciplinary scientific group”
During the period of consideration 17 researchers were working in the scientific group, among them 3 scientists from the Riga Technical University and 3 foreign specialists.
Activity 2.1: „Reciprocity of the interdisciplinary research”
During the period of consideration in the framework of Activity 2.1 the work started in the previous periods was continued. Main attention was paid at the adopting of mathematical models and methods for the development of the technology management of telecommunication networks (Subactivity 2.1.2 „Verification of models and methods and its development in the process of the research”).
Activity 2.2: „Subject research work”
During the period of consideration the research was continued in all three subactivities of the subject research activity 2.2: Subactivity 2.2.1 „The development of telecommunication network projecting and of resource technologies management”, Subactivity 2.2.2 „The development of mathematical models and methods on the basis of fuzzy logics principles” and Subactivity 2.2.3 „The research of dynamical systems in a fuzzy environment”.
Activity 2.3: „Preparation of scientific publications and reports”
The results obtained in the period of consideration were presented at the 6th International Conference on Fuzzy Computation Theory and Applications FCTA 2014 (2 talks). Two scientific papers were worked out and submitted for publication in journals „Fuzzy Sets and Systems” and „Mathematical Modelling and Analysis”. Four papers were published as Abstracts of international conferences.
Activity 3: „Ensuring of society information and publicity”
The information about the project was actualized in the networks of LUMII and RTU.
