The following activities were carried out in the ESF project „Applications of mathematical structures based on fuzzy logic principles in the development of telecommunication network design and resource control technologies” with agreement Nr. 2013/0024/1DP/1.1.1.2.0/13/APIA/VIAA/045 during the period from 01.07.2015 to 31.08.2015:
Activity 1: „A formation of a new interdisciplinary scientific group”
During the period of consideration 15 researchers were working in the scientific group, among them 3 scientists from the Riga Technical University and 1 foreign specialist.
Activity 2.1: „Reciprocity of the interdisciplinary research”
During the period of consideration in the framework of activity 2.1 the work of testing the models and methods developed and worked out in the project was completed. Technical report on main obtained results in the framework of the subactivity 2.1.3 „Submitting of specified models and effective calculating methods and their testing” was worked out.
Activity 2.2: „Subject research work”
During the period of consideration the research was completed in all three subactivities of the subject research activity 2.2: Subactivity 2.2.1 „The development of telecommunication network projecting and of resource technologies management”, Subactivity 2.2.2 „The development of mathematical models and methods on the basis of fuzzy logics principles” and Subactivity 2.2.3 „The research of dynamical systems in a fuzzy environment”.
Activity 2.3: „Preparation of scientific publications and reports”
The results obtained in the period of consideration were presented at the International Conferences IFSA-EUSFLAT (2 talks), FUZZ-IEEE 2015 (2 talks), CECC 2015 (1 talk), FSKD 2015 (2 talks), DATA ANALYTICS 2015 (1 talk), EURO 2015 (2 talks), ItEs 2015 (1 talk), QTDE 2015 (2 talks), the 6th International Workshop on Constructive Methods for Non-linear Boundary Value Problems (2 talks). In the period under consideration 9 scientific papers where submitted to the following journals included in the Web of Science or SCOPUS data bases: „Electronics and Electrical Engineering”, „Fuzzy Sets and Systems”, „Mathematical Modelling and Analysis”, „Filomat”, „Topology and Its Applications”, „Electronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations”. One paper was already published in the journal „Mathematical Modelling and Analysis” and two papers were accepted for publication in the journal „Fuzzy Sets and Systems”. Two chapters in monographs were published.
Activity 3: „Ensuring of society information and publicity”
The information about the project was actualized in the networks of LUMII and RTU. In order to inform the public about the activities in the project, an article in the newspaper “Izglītība un kultūra” was published. A booklet about the main achievements in the framework of the project was prepared and published.
